Telling Architectural is working with Fusion Systems to develop the design and sales of their innovative insulated structural panel in conjunction with rainscreen and off site manufacturing technologies. The adoption of modern methods alongside proven and accepted technologies means that we can overcome the challenges posed by the stringent building regulations and UK insurers.
Fusion’s pre-insulated off site walling units encapsulating cold rolled steel has seen them grow them grow market share and acquire Swadlincote based Framing Systems, further expanding UK its manufacturing capacity. Modular building technologies continue to be produced at the Cork headquarters under the Vision brand.
Telling Architectural is developing the existing Fusion technology to perfect the installation of cladding panels outside the line of the structural frame; a panel which will be delivered to site complete with glazing and finishing elements. Paramount in this development are features such as seals, cavity fire barriers, structural connections, tolerance control and ease of installation.
Fusion panels can be stacked to seven storeys but the panels’ structural integrity places no restriction upon height when connected to a structural frame. They are suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects alike. Furthermore, the intrinsic thermal performance of the panels easily surpass current building regulations and meets increased demands surrounding carbon neutral footprints.
Panels will be available in a wide range of finishes from the existing Telling rainscreen range of terracotta, porcelain, stone and glass as well more traditional aesthetics of brick and render.
