Porcelain Rainscreens

Telling Architectural have established collaborative agreements with Europe’s leading manufacturers of porcelain and ceramic granite tiles for incorporation in their range of rainscreen façade systems. Selection is based upon stringent quality standards as well as the captivating range of formats, colours and textural effects to satisfy the most creative façade designs.

Based on the proven principle of a ventilated cavity rainscreen the systems benefit in cost and ease of installation from the innovation and technical superiority of the fastening systems developed and tested byTelling Architectural.

Appearance and Attachment

Porcelain rainscreens are manufactured to exacting tolerances to provide symmetrical elegance in vivid and exhilarating precision.

Our porcelain rainscreens from Ariostea and Imola have been tested to CWCT standards at the Taylor Woodrow laboratories at Leighton Buzzard, a UKAS approved testing body.

The panels may be fixed by mechanical anchorage to an aluminium substructure or structurally bonded and are suitable for use within curtain walling or as a rainscreen on traditional structures as well as lightweight steel and timber framed buildings. Porcelain is ideal for prefabrication off site in modern methods of construction.

Dimensions

Porcelain facade panels are up to 12mm in thickness system and weigh no more than 40kg/m2. The size of the panels are flexible in horizontal and vertical orientation with maximum panel dimensions of 1200 x 600mm. The aesthetic of the façade can be optimised with composite mitred corners sections.
